POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State Soccer has announced its 2026 non-conference schedule, featuring a challenging and travel-heavy slate that includes matchups across the Mountain West, Big West, WAC, and American Conferences.
The Bengals will begin preparations with an exhibition match, opening on August 8 at sure-to-be preseason top-25 BYU in Provo.
Idaho State officially opens the regular season on the road, traveling to Los Angeles to face CSUN on August 20. The Bengals remain in California for a second match at Cal State Bakersfield on August 23 before returning home for their regular season home opener against UNLV on August 27 at Davis Field.
The in-state rivalry continues as Idaho State travels to Boise State on August 30, followed by a two-match road trip to the Midwest and South. The Bengals will take on Nebraska-Omaha on September 3 before facing SMU in Dallas on September 6.
Idaho State returns home on September 10 to host UC Santa Barbara, beginning a brief homestand that also includes a matchup with Utah State on September 17. The Bengals will then close out non-conference play on the road at New Mexico on September 20.
The 2026 slate provides Idaho State with a strong mix of regional rivals and national competition, including multiple matches against programs from established power conferences. The schedule is designed to test the Bengals early and prepare them for the rigors of Big Sky Conference play that await.
