POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State soccer has announced the signing of Syleena Hogan, a standout recruit from Poulsbo, Washington, who will join the Bengals as an incoming freshman for the 2026 season.

Hogan brings an accomplished background to Idaho State after building an impressive resume at both the high school and club levels. A versatile and proven attacking player, she joins the Bengals following a decorated prep career and extensive club experience with Pacific Northwest Football Club.

"We are excited to welcome Syleena to our program and Bengal family," said Head Coach Dustin Downey. "She is a competitive player with a strong mentality, a winning background, and the type of work ethic that aligns with what we are building here at Idaho State. We believe she has a bright future in our program."

A native of Poulsbo, Washington, Hogan established herself as one of the top prep players in the state. She earned First Team All-State honors three consecutive years, was named Kitsap Sun Athlete of the Year, earned placement on the 2026 All-American Watch List, and received multiple all-league honors throughout her career.

A consistent offensive threat throughout high school, Hogan finished as her team's leading goal scorer in all four years and helped lead her program to a state championship, a moment she described as the most memorable of her playing career.

In addition to soccer, Hogan enjoys horseback riding, hiking, and has a unique hidden talent, riding a three-stack unicycle. She also considers herself an excellent cook and plans to major in Sport Management while at Idaho State.

Hogan's signing adds another accomplished player to Idaho State's 2026 recruiting class as the Bengals continue building toward the future.
