POCATELLO, Idaho - Idaho State Volleyball has announced its 2026 non-conference schedule, featuring four tournaments and 12 matches ahead of the Bengals' Big Sky Conference slate.
The 2026 non-conference slate features matchups against programs from across the PAC-12, Missouri Valley Conference, American Athletic Conference, Mountain West Conference, Big West Conference, Summit League, and the Ohio Valley Conference, giving the Bengals a strong early-season test before the start of Big Sky play.
Idaho State will open the 2026 season at the Shocker Volleyball Classic in Wichita, Kansas, taking on Stephen F. Austin on Friday, Aug. 28 at 9:00 a.m. MT, followed by Missouri State later that day at 1:00 p.m. MT. The Bengals will close the opening weekend against host Wichita State on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 5:00 p.m. MT.
The Bengals will remain on the road the following week, traveling to Boise for the Boise State Classic. Idaho State will face UNLV on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 3:00 p.m., before taking on North Dakota State on Friday, Sept. 4 at 3:00 p.m. The Bengals will wrap up the tournament against host Boise State on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 2:00 p.m.
Idaho State will continue tournament play Sept. 10-12 at the Amy Svoboda Memorial Classic at the Air Force Academy in Colorado. The Bengals will open the weekend against Tennessee Tech on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 4:00 p.m., followed by a Friday matchup with Little Rock on Sept. 11 at 4:00 p.m. Idaho State will close the tournament against host Air Force on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 1:30 p.m.
The Bengals will then return to Pocatello to host the Orange & Black Classic inside Reed Gym. Idaho State will welcome the University of the Pacific on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 7:00 p.m., Wyoming on Friday, Sept. 18 at 7:00 p.m. and Boise State on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 3:00 p.m.
Idaho State will begin Big Sky Conference action on Thursday, Sept. 24 at Idaho.
