The Bengals Head to Boise for the Boise State Classic

Matchup Overview 

Idaho State volleyball heads across the state for the Boise State Classic hosted by Boise State University. The Bengals will face UNLV Thursday afternoon, North Dakota State Friday afternoon, and the host Boise State Saturday afternoon. 
 

Season Outlook 

The Bengals start their 2026 season strong after finishing their first tournament 2-1 at the Shocker Volleyball Classic. Senior middle blocker Jaydin Watts earned All-Tournament team after a match in Wichita. Freshman Mia Walsh earned All-Tournament team after the Wichita match as well. Aspen Boice makes Bengal history with 24 digs, the most Bengal has had in a debut match in history.

Jaydin Watts (Sr., Lancaster, Calif.) -Named preseason All-Conference team honoree and All-Tournament team, 19 kills, 17 blocks, .273 hitting percentage in the 2026 season. 

Mia Walsh (FR., Rexburg, ID)- Named All-Tournament team, 30 kills, 31 digs, and eight blocks, starting her Bengal career strong. 

Nora Waddoups (So., Rexburg, ID) - Named Big Sky All-Tournament team, 12 kills, .500 hitting percentage, and 79 assists starting her sophomore season off strong.
