High School: She graduated from Clear Lake High School this spring where she was senior team captain, a four-year varsity starter and helped her team qualify for playoffs all four years.

Personal: Guhl joins the program from her hometown of Houston, Texas. The 5'4 defender is also an outstanding student as she was a member of the National German Honor Society and Magna Cum Laude while being named to the Academic All-District team. 

Head Coach Debs Brereton on Guhl: "Kyra hails from a top club in Texas (Albion Hurricanes FC) and from an elite soccer family, all of her siblings play at the Division I level. She is a no nonsense center back with the athleticism and skill to also play as a fullback. Her timing of tackles makes her a very difficult defender to beat. She is a versatile defender and can play anywhere on the back line. Kyra was the final addition to our defense, which is an area our staff focused on strengthening for this class. I am very excited about the strength and depth Kyra adds to our squad."
