Idaho State: (2022): Kaylyn appeared in 13 contests for the Bengals, starting in 4 of them. Kaylyn recorded 413 minutes played and scored two goals on four shots on goal, totaling four points on the season.

Idaho State: (2021): Appeared in eight games with two starts ... Logged a total of 290.13 minutes ... Recorded two shots and one goal ... Recorded one assist against Northern Arizona on March 26th. 

(Personal): Kaylyn Buchanan is going into her Junior season with the Bengals, she is originally from Lakewood, Colorado and is majoring in mechanical engineering. Kaylyn’s favorite professional player is Megan Rapinoe, her favorite movie is Over the Hedge, and outside of soccer she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and friends, and cooking. Prior to gametime Kaylyn likes to listen to rap to get her in the zone, and her most memorable moment while playing was when her family came to watch her play and she scored a goal. Kaylyn’s favorite place to eat in Pocatello is Hokkaido and if Kaylyn were to choose anyone to play her in her biopic she would choose Lily Collins.

High School: Buchanan lettered four years at Lakewood and was named the team MVP for two years. She was also the team's three-time leading scorer and led the Jeffco Conference with twenty goals on the season in 2018. Her performances led her to be recognized as a two-time first team all-conference honoree.
