Biography

High School/ Club Team: Played for the Athena Club in the Icelandic league where she averaged 6.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 0.6 assists, and 0.5 steals per game. On February 27, she recorded a double double with 27 points and 12 rebounds, bringing her team to victory. She was awarded an all star first division in both 2023 and 2024.  Asa was named to the Icelandic U20 National team. She competed this summer at the 2025 FIBA U20 Women’s EuroBasket and scored a team best in their game against the Netherlands, with 18 points and 5 rebounds to help her team win 77-74.

 

Personal: Daughter of Ásdís Linda Sverrisdóttir and Jóhann Rúnar Wolfram. Maeva has four siblings: Kolbrún Marín Wolfram, Guðrún Árný Wolfram, Axel Hrafn Wolfram and Arnar Þór Wolfram. In Pocatello, she will be studying Biology in hopes of becoming a surgeon.
