Idaho State then picks up its biggest win in team history, defeating 14th-ranked Utah in the first round of the NCAA College Cup ... After taking Utah to a 0-0 tie through two overtimes, Idaho State advanced past the Utes 5-4 on penalty kicks as Heather Hunt-Jones put in the deciding penalty kick after a Shannon Boyle save in goal for ISU ... The Bengals dropped a 2-0 decision to Brigham Young in the second round of the tournament ... Hunt-Jones led the Bengals with 14 points on the season, including three goals and eight assists ... Shawna Park led the team with five goals, while Boyle fronted the Bengals in goal with 97 saves ... Gordon Henderson was named the Big Sky Coach of the Year for a third time ... Idaho State wins 13 matches, the most in team history, finishing the season with a 13-7-1 overall record and a 5-1-0 mark in league play... ISU wins its first regular season Big Sky Conference title, and earns the rights to host the league tournament... The Bengals didn’t disappoint the hometown Pocatello crowd as Stacey Peterson scored the game-winning overtime goal in the 95th minute to help ISU defeat Portland State 1-0 in the championship game... Peterson finishes the season with a team-high 27 points, including 11 goals and five assists... The 27 points and 11 goals stand to this day as ISU all-time single season records... Peterson also had six game-winning goals during the season, which also stands as an ISU single season record... Shannon Boyle led ISU in goal with 79 saves... Brooke Alton was named the Big Sky Conference Defensive MVP and Boyle was named the Big Sky Tournament’s MVP.
