Jared Allen is now playing for the Carolina Panthers. He was a three-time NFL All-Pro with the Minnesota Vikings. He has played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears. During the 2015 season he was traded to Carolina.

Bill Byrne served as the Director of Athletics at Texas A&M from 2002-2012. Prior to that he served in the same capacity for over 10 years at Nebraska. Byrne was honored by ISU with the 2005 Professional Achievement Award. He retired in 2012.
