The Bengal Athletic Boosters (B.A.B.) exist to support Idaho State University Athletics by raising funds that directly benefit student-athletes — with a primary focus on scholarships and enhancing the overall athletic experience. Contributors help provide financial resources that attract and retain talented competitors, support leadership opportunities, and contribute to a positive collegiate environment on and off the field.

B.A.B. membership comes with a range of benefits tied to giving levels, including priority ticket access for football and men’s basketball, parking privileges, event invitations, and exclusive experiences like VIP hospitality or sideline passes at higher contribution tiers. Across the year, the Boosters host a variety of fundraising events — such as auctions, golf tournaments, tailgate activities, and social gatherings — all of which funnel net proceeds back into student-athlete support. Contributors can pay membership fees upfront or in monthly installments.

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act passed in 2017 ended the ability to consider up to 80 percent of Bengal Athletic Boosters (B.A.B) contributions as charitable; thus, these are presently not viewed as philanthropic gifts and cannot be counted towards tax write-offs. However, contributors do have the option to forego all B.A.B. benefits in order to receive a tax deduction for the gift. Please let us know if you choose to deny these benefits on the gift forms, and we will make the necessary arrangements.
