Timothy Nolan will be entering his second year as the Graduate Assistant for Coach Looney and
the Bengals.
During his first year in Pocatello, he helped the program reach its 2 nd top half of the league
finish in the last 3 years. Responsibilities included coordinating team travel and meals, leading
the student managers, equipment, recruiting visits, and player development working with all-
conference award winners Brayden Parker and Brock Mackenzie. Currently is working on his
master’s degree in athletic administration.
Prior to Idaho State, Nolan was a manager at the University of Wyoming for 3 seasons. Serving
as the head manager the last 2 years under Head Coach Jeff Linder, his responsibilities were
assisting coaches with film and scouting reports, team meals, lead student managers, and assist
in workouts most notably with NBA G-League guard Drake Jeffries, and All-Mountain West
award winners Hunter Maldonado and Graham Ike. Was a part of an at-large bid in the 2022
NCAA Tournament going 25-9. Graduated with a degree in physical education.
Before Wyoming, Timothy was a manager for the Casper College basketball program for the
2018-2019 season. The T-Birds went 32-3 winning the Region IX tournament, a NJCAA national
tournament appearance, and sent 8 players to the Division 1 level. Responsibilities included
team laundry and assisting in workouts.
Nolan grew up in Casper, Wyoming and was a 3-sport athlete playing football, basketball, and
track. Winning back-to-back team state championships in track in 2016-17 and 2017 Wyoming
4A State Championship in basketball for Kelly Walsh High School.
