Biography

Idaho State: (2017) Posted an 8-11 overall singles record in his final season with a 3-7 mark in conference play…finished with a 7-8 record at No. 2 singles, a 1-1 mark at No. 4 singles and an 0-2 mark at No. 2…in doubles play finished with a 5-12 overall record with a 3-6 mark in Big Sky play…finished with a 5-12 record at No. 1 doubles and an 0-2 mark at No. 3 doubles.

(2016) Registered the second-highest win total on the squad with a 11-9 overall record and a 7-3 conference singles record…finished 4-7 at the No. 4 singles position with a 6-2 record at No. 5 singles…posted a 6-12 overall record in doubles play with a 3-7 mark in conference play.

(2015) Finished 3-14 overall in singles play with a 0-1 mark at No. 3 singles, 3-12 at No. 4 and 0-1 at No. 5 singles…finished 3-8 in singles during conference play…was 11-4 in doubles play with a 9-1 mark in conference play.

(2014): Josh was 6-10 in singles during his freshman season at ISU… He was 6-8 at No. 4 singles and 0-2 at No. 3 singles… Goodwin was 4-5 in Big Sky Conference singles play… Goodwin was 3-11 in doubles play… He was 0-8 in Big Sky Conference doubles.

High School: Goodwin won three Idaho State titles at Century High School in Pocatello… The one year he didn’t win the title he was the runner-up… He led Century to the 2013 Idaho State team title… In the 2013 State and district tournament he didn’t lose a set.

Personal: His father Tom played tennis for Idaho State… His sister Macey signed to play soccer for ISU starting in 2014.
