Idaho State Outdoor (2025): Andrew Burrows made an immediate impact in his freshman outdoor season, achieving personal bests in both the shot put and discus. At the Bengal Invitational (05/02/25), he threw 16.47m (54'0.5") in the shot put, placing 7th, and 48.28m (158'5") in the discus, earning 3rd place. These performances highlighted his potential in the throwing events. Additionally, at the Ed Jacoby Twilight (04/25/25), Burrows recorded a shot put of 15.83m (51'11.25") and a discus throw of 47.32m (155'3"), further demonstrating his consistency and growth throughout the season. He concluded the outdoor season at the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship (05/14/25), where he competed in the shot put.
Idaho State Indoor (2024-25): During the indoor season, Burrows showcased his skills in both the shot put and weight throw. He achieved a personal best in the shot put with a throw of 15.62m (51'3") at the Mountain States Games (02/14/25), placing 7th. In the weight throw, he recorded a season-best of 14.95m (49'0.75") at the Stacy Dragila Open (02/07/25), finishing 9th. At the Big Sky Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship (02/27/25), Burrows competed in the shot put, achieving a mark of 15.11m (49'7"), placing 15th. Throughout the indoor season, he consistently improved his performances, indicating a promising future in the throwing events

Personal: Andrew is the son of Jessica and Jeff Burrow and he has one brother, Tyler. He enjoys being outdoors, going hunting, fishing, and hiking. When Andrew is not outdoors he likes to work on welding projects, and restoring cars with his dad. In his free time he likes to play video games, build LEGO sets, and play other sports and various yard games.
