Idaho State Cross Country (2024): In his final cross country season, Smith contributed to the team's efforts at several meets. He ran the 8k at the Big Sky Conference Cross Country Championships (11/01/24), finishing 55th with a time of 26:49.1. Earlier in the season, he competed in the 8k at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational (10/04/24), placing 129th with a time of 25:54.8. At the LC State Invite (10/19/24), he completed the 8k in 24:56.7, securing 54th place.

Idaho State Outdoor (2024): Redshirt season

Idaho State Indoor (2023-24): Competed in five meets in a great indoor season… had a pair of top-five finishes at the Stacy Dragila Open in the 3,000m (4th) and Mile (3rd) (01/26/24)... ran a personal best in the 3,000m (8:23.65s) at the Riverfront Invitational & Multis (02/03/24)... had a pair of 1st place finishes at the Mtn States Games in the mile and distance medley relay (02/10/24)... ended the year at the Big Sky Indoor Track & Field Championship running a personal best in the mile (4:09.81s) and placed 5th in the distance medley relay (02/24/24)... named to the Big Sky Winter All-Academic Team.

Idaho State Outdoor (2023): Ran in four meets… competed at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic, Utah-WSU Spring Classic and BYU Robison Invitational… finished 10th at the Bengal Invitational in the 5,000m (04/29/23)... named to the Big Sky Spring All-Academic Team.

Idaho State Indoor (2022-23): Competed in four meets for the Bengals… mostly in the 3,000m and 5,000m… ran a personal best in the 5,000m (14:48.98s) and secured a 4th place finish at the WSU Open (02/04/23)... ended the season at the Big Sky Indoor Track & Field Championships competing in the 3,000m and 5,000m (02/25/23).

College of Southern Idaho (2020-22): Competed for the CSI Cross Country program 

Soda Springs High School: Two-time All-State selection (XC), three-time Team State Champion, three-time All-State selection ((TF)- 3200, 1600, 800), earned All-State Academic recognition for two years

Personal: Cade is the oldest son of Shena and Zac Smith and has four siblings. In high school, Cade excelled on the cross country course and on the track. Cade served a two year church mission in Brazil. His favorite artist is Kanye West and outside of his sports, he loves to do anything outdoors.
