Rasmussen played a crucial role on the 4x400m relay squad, contributing to multiple victories, including first-place finishes at the Stacy Dragila Open and Riverfront Invitational, and helping the team secure a third-place finish at the Big Sky Conference Championships. He also contributed to the distance medley relay (DMR) that placed fourth at the conference meet, showcasing his versatility and value across events for Idaho State.

Idaho State Outdoor (2025): Dalton Rasmussen delivered a standout junior outdoor season, consistently improving his performance in the 400m. At the Bengal Invitational (05/02/25), he achieved a personal best of 48.45 seconds in the 400m preliminaries, placing 8th, and finished 6th in the finals with a time of 48.77 seconds. Rasmussen also contributed to the 4x400m relay team, which secured 3rd place with a time of 3:18.33 at the same meet. At the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships (05/14/25), he ran the 400m in 48.94 seconds during the preliminaries, finishing 19th. Additionally, he was part of the 4x400m relay team that placed 6th with a time of 3:14.54.
