Idaho State Outdoor (2025): Jay Wadley delivered a historic senior outdoor season, securing Big Sky Conference titles in both the shot put and discus. At the Big Sky Championships (05/14/25), he clinched the shot put title with a throw of 18.24m (59'10.25") and the discus title with a mark of 56.45m (185'2") . Earlier, at the Bengal Invitational (05/02/25), Wadley achieved personal bests in both events: 18.30m (60'0.5") in the shot put and 57.53m (188'9") in the discus . His discus throw at the Ed Jacoby Twilight (04/25/25) of 55.71m (182'9") further showcased his consistency . Wadley concluded his season at the NCAA Division I West First Round, finishing 28th in the discus with a throw of 55.32m (181'6") .

Idaho State Indoor (2024–25): Wadley continued his dominance indoors, earning a third-place finish in the shot put at the Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships (02/27/25) with a personal best of 17.44m (57'2.75") . He secured victories at the Mountain States Games (02/14/25) with a throw of 17.07m (56'0") and at the Buc Scoring meet (03/20/25) with a mark of 16.69m (54'9.25") . His consistent top finishes throughout the season underscored his status as a leading field athlete.

Idaho State Outdoor (2024): Competed in shot put and discus in every meet… opened the year with a pair of top-ten finishes at the UVU Collegiate Invitational discus (7th) and shot put (5th) (03/29/24)... threw a personal best in shot put (16.72m/54’ 10.25”) at the Beach Invitational (04/13/24)... finished off a great season at the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship finish 7th in shot put and 2nd in discus (53.10m/174’ 2”) also throwing a personal best (05/11/24)... named to the All Conference Team (Discus)... named to the Big Sky Spring All-Academic Team.

Idaho State Indoor (2023-24): Competed in six meets during the season all in shot put… in all meets he secured a top-ten finish… started the year at the Snake River Open and placed 4th (01/12/24)... placed 3rd at the Weber State Invitational (01/20/24)... ended the season placing 5th in shot put (16.66m/54’ 8”) at the Big Sky Indoor Track & Field Championship (02/24/24)...

Personal: Jay is the son of Lonnie and Michael Wadley. His support system includes his siblings, Caitlin and Cole Stewart-Johnson, Rachael and Scott Talbot, Alex, Eli and Morgan. He has been married to Hailey Wadley since 2020. Wadley was also a member of the Idaho State Football program from 2020-23.
