Biography

Idaho State Indoor (2026): Jordyn McDonald had a strong freshman indoor season, establishing himself as a versatile multi-event and hurdles competitor for the Bengals. He competed in the heptathlon at the Big Sky Conference Championships, scoring a season-best 4133 points and posting strong individual marks, including a high jump clearance of 1.83m (6’ 0”) and a top-six finish in the shot put. McDonald also earned a second-place high jump at the Mountain States Games with a clearance of 1.92m (6’ 3.5”) and contributed solidly in the 60m hurdles, sprints, and horizontal jumps throughout the season. His all-around performances and consistent scoring make him a key multi-event talent for Idaho State heading into the outdoor season.
