Taylor Fitzgerald

Graduate Assistant

Taylor is serving as a Graduate Assistant to help the Bengals during the 2024-2025 while she finishes her Master’s in Communications. She also works with the Bengal Radio Network to help out with Idaho State ESPN+ Broadcast.

Taylor is originally from Rocklin, California and started her career at UC Davis, but transferred to play her last year of eligibility with the Idaho State Bengals for the 2023-24 season.

In her last season she posted a 5.33 ERA, in 96.1 innings of work, and finished with an 8-8 record. She appeared in 22 games for the Bengals, making 16 starts and collected 39 strikeouts, while opponents batted .262 against her.

In her four year career at UC Davis, Fitzgerald had a 4.46 ERA in 316.2 innings pitched. Over those years she appeared in 73 games, made 54 starts and collected 19 wins, as she threw 13 complete games. She tallied 136 strikeouts and opponents batted .295 against her during her career at UC Davis.

Taylor spent the previous summer coaching a 12u travel ball team sharing her passion and knowledge of the game! Outside of softball, Taylor enjoys beadwork, making tiktoks, and enjoying time with friends and family.
