Biography

Idaho State (2024): Appeared in 38 games making 15 starts… had a total of 60 at-bats for the Bengals… collected 12 hits with 4 of those for extra bases- three doubles and one home run… ended the season with a .300 slugging percentage… recorded a 1.000 fielding percentage… broke up a no-hitter against BYU at home with a home run in the bottom of the 7th inning (04/30/24)... named Big Sky Player of the Week after batting.333 against BYU (05/06/24)... named to the Big Sky Spring All-Academic Team.

Idaho State (2023): Played in 25 games for the Bengals… had a total of 58 at-bats… tallied 16 hits with six of those for extra bases- five doubles and one home run… collected four walks and four hit by pitches… ended the season with a .414 slugging percentage and a .358 on-base percentage. 

Idaho State (2022): Appeared in 42 games during her freshman year… had a total of 102 at-bats for the Bengals… collected 26 hits with 11 of those for extra bases- seven doubles and four home runs… had 12 RBI and scored 11 runs scored… collected seven walks and seven hit by pitches… first collegiate hit came against University of Texas El Paso (02/10/22)... first collegiate home run came against University of Texas El Paso where her older sister was there to greet her at home plate (02/10/22).

Dana Hills High School: 2021 Most Valuable Player, 2019 and 2020 Offensive Player of the Year, 2018 Freshman of the Year, named to South Coast League First Team from 2019-2021

Travel Ball: Corona Angels- Tyson; Won 14u PGF Championship, 14U Triple Crown Championship, and 14U Colorado Sparkler Championship

Personal: Piper is the daughter of JoAnn and Frank Tago and has three siblings Peter, Frankie (Idaho State Softball Alumni), and Bailey. She chose Idaho State because she “wanted to try something different from home in California.”
