Biography

Idaho State: 2015 Big Sky Conference MVP … second-team NFCA all-region … espnW National Player of the Week on April 1 … two-time Big Sky Conference Player of the Week … In the week she earned national player of the week honors and Big Sky Player of the Week she was 8-11 at the plate with a .727 batting average and an .800 on base percentage. In one game at Utah State and three at Southern Utah she hit four home runs, tallied 10 RBIs and scored eight runs. In the four games she had six extra base hits and a 2.091 slugging percentage … finished the season reaching base in 41 straight games … had 21 multiple RBI games and 20 multiple hit games … was walked 17 times in the final 11 games … named Big Sky Player of the Week on March 2 after hitting .667 with five runs scored, two doubles, three home runs and nine RBIs at the UNLV Tournament in Las Vegas. Galasso started all five games at catcher and went a combined 10-for-15 with a 1.400 slugging percentage and an on-base percentage of .737 as the Bengals went 3-2 at the tournament, with wins over Wisconsin, Depaul and Louisiana Monroe … was 3-4 with five RBIs and two home runs in the win over DePaul … was 3-3 with three RBIs and one homer in a win over Louisiana Monroe and was 3-3 with six RBIs and two homers in a win at SUU.

(2014) Named to the USA Softball Top 50 Watch List ... first-team All-Big Sky Conference ... earned second-team NFCA all-region honors ... played and started in all 55 games and hit .371 ... hit 20 home runs and 65 RBI ... scored 62 runs and had 62 hits ... walked 32 times ... named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week on March 4 ... had a season-high five RBIs vs. Grand Canyon on Feb. 8 ... had 17 multiple hit games with a season high three coming in eight games ... walked three times in a game vs. Utah Valley, Weber State (April 4) and vs. Utah Valley on April 15 ... stole 10 bases on 11 attempts.

(2013) Named the first-ever Big Sky Conference Player of the Year ... finished sophomore season hitting .461 with 18 home runs and 60 RBI ... had 82 hits, scored 54 runs and recorded a slugging percentage of .876 ... named to the NFCA second-team all-region ... named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week three times ... played and started in all 52 games ... had 25 multiple hit games and 16 multiple RBI games ... had a season-best 25 game hitting streak during the season ... finished sophomore season setting the ISU single-season record for hits (82) and RBI (60) ... ranks second in batting average (.461), runs scored (54) and home runs (18) ... after two years already ranks fourth in the career record books in runs scored (77), hits (126) and third in doubles (24), home runs (22) and RBI (84) ... ranked 8th in the nation in batting average (.461), eighth in slugging percentage (.876), 15th in home runs (15), 15th in home runs per game (.35) and 14th in RBI per game (1.15) ... hit .544 in Big Sky Conference games ... had eight home runs and 31 RBI in league contests ... played the majority of the season at catcher.

(2012) Named second-team all-Mountain Division ... named to the PCSC All-Academic team ... played and started in 47 of 48 games ... hit .303 with four homeruns and 24 RBIs ... in 145 at bats had 44 hits and scored 23 runs ... started 47 games at catcher ... had a team-best 10 doubles ... had a slugging percentage of .469.
