Biography

Idaho State (2025-26): In her freshman season, appeared in all 10 of Idaho State's tournaments... posted a season-low 68 (-4) in the first round of the UM Sun Mountain Invitational, which ranks 2nd all-time in program history... recorded four top-20 individual finishes, including a 9th-place finish at the Big O Invitational... best tournament of the season was the MSU Bobcat Desert Classic with a 54-hole total of 222 (+6), which ranks 7th all-time in program history... posted a season-best 36-hole total of 145 (+1), which ranks 3rd all-time, on two occasions at the MSU Yellowstone Invitational and the UM Sun Mountain Invitational... finished the season with a per-round scoring average of 76.30, which ranks 3rd all-time in program history... recorded 59 birdies on the year, which ranks 2nd all-time in program history... shot par or better five times on the season, tying for 1st all-time in program history.


Isabelle "Izzy" Hassebrock joins Idaho State from Sacred Heart-Griffin High School in Springfield, Illinois, where she emerged as one of the state’s top prep golfers. A 2023 Class 1A individual state champion, she fired postseason rounds of 67 and 69 to win Regional and Sectional titles before closing with a clutch 71 in the final round of state to secure the crown. She followed that up with a runner-up finish at the 2024 state tournament, continuing her reputation for thriving under pressure. A multi-time First Team All-Conference, All-Area, and All-State honoree, Hassebrock posted a 74 scoring average during her high school career and was named Player of the Year for SHG. She also competed on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour and Prep Tour, collecting multiple wins along the way.

Beyond her play on the course, Hassebrock excelled in the classroom as a member of the National Honor Society, graduating with high honors while balancing AP and honors coursework. She was also active in her community and school, participating in debate, Spanish Club, Social Justice Club, Key Club, and serving as a Student Ambassador. At Idaho State, she brings championship experience, disciplined preparation, and strong leadership to the Bengals as she begins her collegiate career in the Big Sky Conference.
