Tristen Spooner enters her second season with the Idaho State women’s soccer staff after completing her eligibility in 2018. Spooner competed from 2015-18 as both a midfielder and defender.

During the 2015 season, Spooner played in 17 games with 16 starts at midfield and logged a total 1,268 minutes on the season.  The 2016 season allowed for Spooner to compete in 20 games with 19 starts and score her first career goal at Boise State on Aug. 19.  She recorded two assists on the season in back-to-back games.

In 2017, Spooner played in started in all 18 games on the season, logging a season-high 97 minutes against UTEP on Sept. 3 and again against Weber on Oct. 27 and one assist against Chicago State on Aug. 18.  During her senior season in 2018, she appeared and started in all 16 games for the Bengals, logging a season-high 101 minutes against Utah State.  She recorded a career-high two goals against Weber State.  She finished her career with a .500 shot on goal percentage, two goals, one assist, and five points.

Spooner hails from Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She will receive her bachelor's degree in Biology in December of 2019 from Idaho State University.
