Idaho State: (2018) Finished the season with 11 singles wins to rank third overall…posted an 11-9 singles record on the year with an 8-3 mark in conference…was 3-3 at No. 1 singles, 7-6 at No. 2 and 1-0 at No. 3…finished 12-10 in doubles play with sister Louise-Mare with a 5-6 record in Big Sky play…named Honorable Mention All-Big Sky…named ISU women’s tennis Co-Player of the Year.

(2017) Finished 14-5 overall in singles play with a 9-2 mark in conference play…collected a 13-3 mark at No. 2 singles…ranked third in the Big Sky at No. 2 singles with a .812 win percentage…named Big Sky Player of the Week on March 22 after going undefeated in both singles and doubles play at Sacramento State and Northern Arizona…her undefeated weekend included a win over NAU’s Blanka Szavay in three sets, 6-3, 6-7, 10-8, to deliver Szavay’s second conference loss ever…in doubles play finished 7-6 on the season, all at No. 1 doubles, with sister Louise-Mare Botes…named Second Team All-Conference for singles play in addition to earning honorable mention honors for doubles play.

Before Idaho State: Was home schooled throughout high school with sister Louise-Mare…represented South Africa for the U14, U16 and U18 teams in tennis…also participated in the qualifying rounds of the Junior Fed Cup…Earned a 259 ITF Ranking in 2015...Ranked top five in South Africa in both 2014 and 2015…In December 2014, was named the East Africa Junior ITF Doubles champion with partner and sister Louise-Mare…In 2013, was the Amanda Coetzer South Africa School Tennis Championships winner at the No. 1 position….was ranked the top No. 1 school player in South Africa…That same year she won the Amanda Coetzer South Africa School Tennis Championship doubles with sister Louise-Mare…In 2012, earned the South African National singles title along with the doubles title with Louise-Mare.

Personal: Daughter of Lucius and Hubre Botes….sister Louise-Mare also plays tennis for Idaho State…major is undecided.
