Biography

Idaho State Outdoor (2025):
In the 2025 outdoor season, Maddie Romberg continued to demonstrate her prowess in the hammer throw. At the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Championships (May 14–17), she achieved a personal best of 48.04 meters (157'7"), securing 11th place. Earlier in the season, Romberg recorded a throw of 46.84 meters (153'8") at the Bengal Invitational (May 2–3), placing 7th, and a mark of 46.64 meters (153'0") at the Ed Jacoby Twilight (April 25), finishing 6th. She also competed in the discus throw, with a season-best of 38.85 meters (127'5") at the Big Sky Championships, placing 19th. In the shot put, Romberg's top performance was 11.89 meters (39'0.25") at the 2024 Big Sky Conference Outdoor Championships (May 8–11), where she finished 20th.

Idaho State Indoor (2024–25):
During the indoor season, Romberg focused on the weight throw and shot put events. She achieved a personal best in the weight throw with a mark of 15.73 meters (51'7.25") at the Mountain States Games (February 9–10), placing 10th. At the Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships (February 22–24), she recorded a throw of 15.16 meters (49'9") in the weight throw, finishing 18th. In the shot put, her season-best was 11.73 meters (38'6") at both the ISU Winter Open (December 6) and the Weber State Invitational (January 19–20)
