Idaho State Outdoor (2025): In her final outdoor season, Vasquez continued to excel in long-distance events. At the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 16–18), she ran the 10,000 meters in 35:18.10, placing 13th. She also achieved a personal best in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:58.78 at the Beach Invite (April 17–18), securing first place. At the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Championships (May 14–17), Vasquez earned All-Conference honors by finishing third in the 10,000 meters with a season-best 34:55.94, contributing six points to the team's total. She also placed eighth in the 5,000 meters with a time of 17:34.44.
Idaho State Indoor (2024–25): During the indoor season, Vasquez competed in distance events. At the Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships (February 27–March 1), she ran the 3,000 meters in 10:49.26, finishing 25th, and the 5,000 meters in 18:12.15, placing 14th.
Idaho State Cross Country (2024): Vasquez had a strong cross country season, highlighted by a 13th-place finish at the Big Sky Conference Championships (November 1) with a 5K time of 17:35.4. She also placed fourth at the LC State Invite (October 19) with a personal best of 17:09.0 in the 5K. Her performance contributed to Idaho State's fourth-place team finish at the conference championships, the program's best since 2014
Idaho State Outdoor (2024): Started the season strong by running a personal best in the 5,000m (17:08.08s) at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic (03/30/24)... ran a personal best time in the 10,000m (34:55.90s) to help secure a 8th place finish at the Bryan Clay Invitational (04/13/24)... at the Bengal Invitational placed 4th in the mile (5:11.15s) with a new personal best time (04/27/24)... ended the year strong placing 8th in the 5,000m and 3rd in the 10,000m at the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship (05/11/24)... No. 5 on the Idaho State Top-Ten Performance List for the 5,000m (17:08.08s)... Idaho State Indoor (2023-24): Saw action in five meets in another strong year…. Finished 2nd in the 5,000m at the Riverfront Invitational & Multis (02/03/24)... had a strong outing at the Mtn States Games placing 3rd in the 3,000m and 4th in the distance medley relay (02/10/24)... ended the season strong finishing 11th in the 3,000m (10:00.27s) with a personal best time and 8th in the distance medley relay at the Big Sky Indoor Track & Field Championship (02/24/24)... named to the Big Sky Winter All-Academic Team.
Idaho State Outdoor (2023): Competed in four meets for the Orange and Black… finished 2nd at the Bengal Invitational in the 5,000m (18:10.52s) (04/29/23)... ended the year at the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Track Meeting where she finished 14th in the 10,000m (05/10/23)... Idaho State Indoor (2022-23): Saw action in four meets… was a part of the 4x400m relay and the 3,000m at the Stacy Dragila Open (01/28/23)... finished 5th at WSU Open in the 5,000m (17:39.44s) (02/04/23)... ended the season running the 5,000 at the Big Sky Indoor Track & Field Championships where she place 16th.

Personal: Cassandra is the daughter of Erica and Jose and she has one sister, Elisa. She has been running and racing since middle school and absolutely loves it. Cassandra is excited for her final year and what’s to come.
