Idaho State Indoor (2024–25): In her freshman indoor season, Gabby Johnson competed in middle-distance events. She achieved a personal best in the 800 meters with a time of 2:34.78 at the Stacy Dragila Open on February 7, 2025, placing 10th. In the mile, she recorded a personal best of 5:40.67 at the Mountain States Games on February 14–15, 2025, finishing 62nd. Johnson also participated in the 4x400 meter relay, with the team clocking a time of 4:20.26 at the Stacy Dragila Open.

Idaho State Cross Country (2024): During the 2024 cross country season, Johnson contributed to the Bengals' strong team performance. She ran a personal best 5K time of 18:58.0 at the LC State Invite on October 19, 2024, finishing 63rd. At the Big Sky Conference Championships on November 1, 2024, she completed the 5K in 19:55.6, placing 70th. Johnson also competed in the 6K at the NCAA Division I Mountain Region Cross Country Championships on November 15, 2024, finishing with a time of 23:58.2.
