Idaho State Indoor (2023-24): Competed in six meets this season for the Bengals… finished 4th in her first pentathlon and was a part of the 4x400m relay that placed 2nd at the Snake River Open (01/12/24)... at the Weber State Invitational had a personal best in triple jump (11.20m/36’9”) to help secure a 3rd place finish,  a personal best in the 55m (7.64s) and a personal best in the 55m hurdles (8.84s) to help secure a 7th place finish (01/20/24)... locked in 1st place with a personal best long jump (5.80m/9’ 0.5”) at the Stacy Dragila Open (01/26/24)… ended the season at the Big Sky Indoor Track & Field Championship where she placed 3rd in the pentathlon  with a personal best score (3,668) and placed 6th in the 60m hurdles (8.70s) with a personal best time (02/24/24)... No. 7 (along with Tenleigh Smith, Presley Timmons, Kyndal Martin) on the Idaho State Top-Ten Performance List for 4x400m relay (3:50.18s)...No 9.on the Idaho State Top-Ten Performance List for 60m Hurdles (8.81s)... tied No. 5 on the Idaho State Top-Ten Performance List for Long Jump (5.80M/19’ 00.5”)... named to the Big Sky All Conference Team (Pentathlon)... named to the Big Sky Winter All-Academic Team.

Personal: Josie is the daughter of Natasha and Darren Settle and she has one sibling, Tenleigh. While here at Idaho State, Josie is majoring in Health Science. Outside of track, she loves baking cupcakes, making ceramics and paddle boarding.
