Idaho State Outdoor (2025): Laura Young delivered a strong outdoor season across multiple throwing events. At the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Championships (May 14–17), she placed 10th in the discus with a throw of 43.22 meters (141'9"), 13th in the shot put at 13.10 meters (42'11.75"), and 15th in the hammer throw with a mark of 46.14 meters (151'4"). Her season-best performances included a personal best in the discus at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate (April 17) with a throw of 43.93 meters (144'1"), a hammer throw of 47.73 meters (156'7") at the Bengal Invitational (May 2–3), and a shot put mark of 13.26 meters (43'6") at the same meet. Young's consistent performances contributed significantly to Idaho State's success in the throwing events throughout the season.

Idaho State Indoor (2024–25): During the indoor season, Young achieved a personal best in the shot put with a throw of 13.72 meters (45'0.25") at the Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships (February 27–March 1), securing sixth place. She also recorded a personal best in the weight throw with a mark of 15.64 meters (51'3.75") at the same championship, finishing 15th. Earlier in the season, she posted a shot put mark of 13.31 meters (43'8") at the Mountain States Games (February 14–15) and a weight throw of 14.91 meters (48'11") at the Stacy Dragila Open (February 7).
