Biography

Idaho State Outdoor (2025): In her freshman outdoor season, Teressa Christensen emerged as a promising hurdler for the Bengals. She achieved a personal best of 1:04.26 in the 400m hurdles, securing 1st place at the Bengal Invitational on May 2–3, 2025. At the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Championships (May 14–17), Christensen competed in the 400m hurdles, recording a time of 1:05.71 in the preliminaries. Throughout the season, she consistently improved her times, including performances of 1:05.20 at the Ed Jacoby Twilight (April 25) and 1:05.14 at the Beach Invite (April 17–18). Additionally, she contributed to the 4x400m relay team, which posted a season-best time of 4:05.66 at the Ed Jacoby Twilight.

Idaho State Indoor (2024–25): During the indoor season, Christensen focused on sprint and hurdle events. She recorded a personal best of 1:00.41 in the 400m at the Mountain States Games (February 14–15). In the 60m hurdles, she achieved a personal best of 9.97 seconds at the Stacy Dragila Open (February 7). Christensen also participated in the 4x400m relay, with the team achieving a time of 4:06.52 at the Mountain States Games.



Century High School: Athletics: Three-time state track participant; Academics: Outstanding Spanish Scholar, two-time Scholar Athlete, graduated with honors

Personal: Teressa is the daughter of Natalie and Benjamin Christensen. She has four siblings, Isaac, Isabel, Sampson and Claire. She is in the Honors Program here at Idaho State! She is a proud Disciple of Jesus Christ.
