Robert Berrett enters his second season as Idaho State women's volleyball assistant coach. Berrett was hired as an assistant coach on June 5, 2019. He joined the Bengals with eight years of college coaching experience at both the Division I and Division II levels.
Berrett previously spent four years as the assistant coach at the University of Alaska Fairbanks before coming to Pocatello. He helped lead the women's volleyball program to a fourth place conference finish to complete the highest win total and conference finish the program saw in a decade.
Prior to UAF, Berrett spent four years at Weber State where he served as a volunteer assistant coach and the team's Data Volley technician for the women's volleyball team for three years and the Director of Operations his final year. While at Weber, he also organized a men's volleyball club program and served as the president, head coach, and player.
Berrett graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Weber State in 2013.Â
