Filipe Sitake joins the Idaho State defensive staff as an assistant on the defensive line, working under DL coach Ricky Ali'ifua, and brings a championship playing background from within the Big Sky Conference.

Sitake starred on the defensive line at Weber State from 2015-2018, helping the Wildcats to back-to-back Big Sky championships and three consecutive FCS Playoff appearances. He played in 49 career games and started 46, earning All-America and first-team All-Big Sky honors as a senior. He finished his career with 102 total tackles and 12 tackles for loss.

A native of Orem, Utah, Sitake now brings that title-winning experience and conference pedigree to Idaho State's defensive front as it looks to build on a 2025 season that saw the Bengals close with four wins in their final five games.
