Madison Named to Preseason All-Conference Team

SPOKANE, Wash.- The Big Sky Conference announced its 2018 Big Sky Football Preseason All-Conference team and individual award winners on Monday and senior running back James Madison was named to the preseason all-conference team. The team was put together by selected media representatives around the league.

In 2017, Madison broke onto the scene by rushing for 933 yards and five touchdowns on 185 carries. He also caught 21 passes for 213 yards and one touchdown while earning first-team all-league. Madison rushed for a career-high 253 yard at Northern Colorado last year.

UC Davis wide receiver Keelan Doss was named the Preseason Offensive Player of the Year while Montana linebacker Josh Buss was named the Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.  

Idaho State reports to fall camp on July 31 and the first practice is August 1. Season and single-game tickets are on sale at the ISU Ticket Office at Holt Arena.
