Roman Sapolu comes to Idaho State after spending the last three years at Nebraska as a graduate assistant working with the offensive line.

Sapolu was an offensive lineman at Oregon State and graduated with his degree in liberal studies in 2014. His father, Jesse, was a member of the San Francisco 49ers from 1983 to 1997, earning four Super Bowl rings.

Sapolu started his coaching career in 2014 after his senior season was cut short due to injury.
