Box Score

Honolulu, HI--Five Bengals reached double-figure scoring, including a game-high 19 point effort from Natalie Doma and 16 from Andrea Lightfoot as Idaho State wrapped up the Hawaiian Airlines Rainbow Wahine Classic with a 78-61 win over Eastern Michigan.

"This was a good win for us," said ISU head coach Jon Newlee. "Our team finally showed up today and played the way we know they are capable of every game. It was good to see, and after playing a good game against Wisconsin and getting the win today gives us a lot of confidence heading back to Pocatello."

Doma recorded her game-high 19 points on 6-of-15 shots from the field, including a pair of three-point field goals. The sophomore center also added eight rebounds and two blocks in 23 minutes of play.

Lightfoot connected on 5-of-13 shots from the field, including two shots from beyond the arc for her 16 points. Jeni Boesel and Michelle Grohs each chipped in 12 points, while Chelsey Chambers notched 10. Boesel also recorded a game-high eight points with eight rebounds.

Joanna Hixon was impressive for the Bengals as she just missed a double-double by a single point. Hixon tallied a game-high and career-high 15 rebounds with nine points.

"I was impressed with the entire team today," Newlee said. "It was a total team effort. Our bench was strong and even those that didn't get into the game were loud and supportive. I'm happy with this win."

Nikki Knapp led Eastern Michigan with 16 points and two others were in double-figure scoring.

As a team, Idaho State shot 43.8 percent from the field and 44.8 percent from three-point range. ISU hit eight three-point field goals in the game.

The Bengals will now travel back home to Pocatello for a Nov. 30 game with St. Martin's at Reed Gym. Tip-off is set for 7:05 p.m.
