Lamkin Grip Cal Poly Invitational: First Round Results 
Arroyo Grande, CA--- The Idaho State women's golf team is in a tie for 17th place at the conclusion of the first round of the Lamkin Grip Cal Poly Invitational at Cypress Ridge Golf Course in Arroyo Grande, Calif.
The Bengals fired a first-round total of 331, 36 shots behind leaders San Jose State and tied with Utah Valley. Idaho State and UVU are both a shot ahead of Southern Utah and two strokes back of 16th-place Cal State-Bakersfield.
Junior Katie Phillips is the Bengals' top scorer after one day, shooting an 8-over 80, good for a tie for 53rd place. Senior Alysia Hall is two shots back at 82 and tied for 66th. Kylie Smith is tied for 77th with an 84, Sadie Venn shot an 85 and is tied for 83rd, and Amanda Hendricks' first-round 90 puts her in a tie for 101st place.
Xavier's Mary Beth McKenna and Bradley's Bari Erais are tied for the individual lead with matching scores of one-under 69. The second round takes place at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
