Big Sky Leaders
As a team ISU is first in the conference in kick off return average at 24.4 and punt return average at 22.2 yards a return. Tavoy Moore is first in the league in kickoff return average at 27.1 yards a return and he has 705 total yards for the year. Moore is first in the league in all-purpose yards at 198.9 and Storms is first in the conference in tackles at 12.9. Chris Holmesly is fourth in the league in tackles at 9.1. David Harrington is first in the Big Sky in punting at 44.5 yards while Chris Holmesly is third in the conference in forced fumbles as he has three on the year. Sean Rutten is fifth in sacks with four at .57 a game.

It's a First
Tavoy Moore became the first Big Sky football player in conference history to return a kickoff and punt return for touchdowns in two different games. He accomplished this feat at Northern Colorado and Montana.

Tew The House
Dustin Tew's 100-yard interception return for a touchdown against Weber State on Oct. 16 was
only the second time this season an FCS player has returned an interception return 100-yards for
a touchdown. That mark also tied the school record for longest interception return for a touchdown.

Recapping Last Year's Game vs. Montana State
Idaho State led 7-3 after the first quarter and 10-3 early in the second quarter before Montana State scored the next 38 points for the 41-10 win. Roderick Rumble scored the Bengals only touchdown on a 16-yard reception from Russel Hill.

Moore Closing in on Big Sky Records
Tavoy Moore's 100-yard kickoff return at Montana brings him within one kickoff return for a touchdown from tying the single-season Big Sky Record. Bashir Livingston returned three kicks to the end zone in 1998. Moore needs two more kick returns for a touchdown to tie the Big Sky single-season record for most touchdowns scored on via a kickoff or punt. In 2003, Montana State's Corey Smith had four punt returns and two kickoff returns for touchdowns while Livingston had three kickoffs and three punt returns for touchdowns in 1998 – the single season conference record. Moore currently has two kickoff and two punt returns for touchdowns.

Defense to Offense
Due to injuries, several Bengal players have made the move from defense to offense. Phil Pleasant started the year as a defensive back and is now playing running back. Jake Hutton was moved from linebacker to running back, David Tyler was moved from the defensive line to the offensive line, Leki Fuapau was moved from linebacker to tight end and JT Albers started the year at linebacker and was moved to full back.
