PORTLAND, Ore. – Idaho State had three seniors earn 2010 all-league honors named by the Big Sky Conference on Friday afternoon. Outside hitter Haylee Thompson-Brock and middle blocker Britta Bartschi-Rhodehouse earned second team honors. Middle blocker Sarah Carson earned honorable mention.
The seniors helped Idaho State reach the Big Sky Conference Tournament for the ninth time in program history with a third place finish during the regular season. The last time Idaho State attended the conference tournament was in 2005 advancing to the quarterfinals.
Idaho State's three honorees give the Bengals its most awards since the 2004 season when Nikki Havens earned second team honors while five Bengals received honorable mention.

Bartschi-Rhodehouse was named to the first team of the UTPA Fall Invitational where the Bengals won the tournament title. Carson was named to the first team of the BYU Nike Invitational while Thompson-Brock was named to the all-tournament team at the Drake Challenge.

She posted the fourth best kill average in the Big Sky with 3.57 per set. She notched 141 digs during the Big Sky season. She is the only Bengal to average over three kills and over two digs per set. She led the team with 15 service aces during the conference season and posted 38 blocks.
Bartschi-Rhodehouse averages 2.55 kills per set in league action while posting a .247 attack percentage. She posts the second most blocks on the team with 53 in Big Sky action, and lead the Bengals with 10 solo blocks. She recorded 12 service aces, 30 assists, and 81 digs.
Carson leads the Bengals in blocks with 0.86 per set and hitting percentage with a .311 ef

Against Montana State Carson recorded 14 kills from 23 attacks with one error for a .565 attack percentage at Montana State for a win that clinched ISU's post season appearance.
