Thursday First's
The win over Montana State on Jan. 24 was the first time the Bengals have won on a Thursday this year and it was the first win for the Bengals in January. The win over the Bobcats was also the first time ISU won a game scoring less than 60 points and it was the first win by the Bengals when only two players scored in double figures.
Block Party
Deividas Busma's eight blocks against Montana State was a career-high and a Big Sky season-best mark. The eight blocks was two away from tying the single-game record of 10 set by Steve Hayes vs Weber State on Jan. 30, 1976. Busma currently has 70 blocks in his career which ranks him 10th on the all-time list. He needs two to pass Scott Henry (2002-04) and move into ninth place, four to pass J.T. Nelson (1998-02) and move into eighth place and five to pass Mike Williams (1982-84) and move into seventh place.
