POCATELLO, Idaho- After three straight home games, the Idaho State men's basketball team returns to the road where it will play four of its next five games away from Pocatello, beginning Wednesday, Nov. 30 at New Mexico. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. and
Jerry Miller will be calling the action at 930 AM.
SERIES INFO VS. NEW MEXICO
New Mexico leads the overall series 4-2 but the two teams haven't met since Nov. 22, 1991 in the Pit, a game the Lobos won 112-98. The last Idaho State win over New Mexico was a 73-69 victory on Dec. 30, 1978 at New Mexico.
SCOUTING NEW MEXICO
New Mexico enters Wednesday's game with a 4-2 record after beating Washington State and Boston College last week. Tony Snell leads the Lobos in scoring at 15.2 points a game while Drew Gordon is scoring 11.5 points a game and averaging 9.2 rebounds a contest. New Mexico is averaging 74 points a game and shooting 45.8 percent from the field.
THE WEEK THAT WAS
Idaho State is coming off a tough 79-76 overtime loss at home to Loyola Marymount.
Melvin Morgan scored 24 points in 30 minutes off the bench while
Chase Grabau tallied his first-career double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Idaho State was held to 39 percent shooting and LMU shot 50 percent from the field. Both teams had 38 rebounds in the loss. The Bengals then lost 75-62 at home on Saturday to Utah State. The Bengals shot 32.7 from the field while the Aggies shot 57.8 percent from the field.

Melvin Morgan played 30 minutes or more a game. Moreira played 39.3 minutes a game while Grabau played 36.3 and Morgan 30.3 minutes a game during the three-game homestand.

During the Bengals three-game homestand
Melvin Morgan led the Bengals in scoring where he averaged 17.3 points a game in 30.7 minutes of play. He was eight-for-16 from the 3-point line and shot 47 percent from the field. He had 12 assists during the three games.

Chase Grabau is a player that has shown to make all the hustle plays for the Bengals. That is evident in the stats as Grabau leads the team in scoring at 13 points a game and rebounding at seven rebounds. He also has 19 assists to only four turnovers to go along with eight steals. He is also shooting 48 percent from the field while playing a team-best 35.4 minutes a game.
