Nate Gross continues his winning ways with his third straight singles victory defeating UC Riverside's Ryan Stanbury 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 4 spot at UNLV on Sunday afternoon. For the second straight contest Gross captured the lone Bengal victory in a 6-1 loss.
Gross improved to a 3-1 record at the No. 4 spot winning his third straight set contest of the year. Gross leads Idaho State for overall singles with a 5-1 record.
The Bengals began the match down 0-1 falling 8-4 in all contests. Junior
Dan Buckingham pushed Sean Peterson to a third set tiebreaker before falling 4-6, 6-4, 10-4 at the No. 6 spot.
Idaho State's next contest will occur in Idaho Falls at the Apple Athletic Center in a non-conference neutral contest against Montana State on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. This will be the first collegiate dual match played in Idaho Falls.
