POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State football coach
Mike Kramer has announced the signing of Highland High School standout
Josh Cutler to a National Letter of Intent.
Cutler is a three-year letter winner who helped lead Highland to a state championship in 2008. He is a first-team all-state offensive lineman and he earned the J.R. Simplot Award for the Most Outstanding Offensive Player of the Year. He is set to play in the all-state football game in Boise on July 9 and he is the only player in Southeast Idaho to earn all-state honors on the offense in the 5A Division.
Cutler is also a letter-winner in wrestling as he placed fifth his junior year and fourth as a senior, going a combined 41-9 in his two years.
“
Josh Cutler is the premiere player in this class,” Kramer said. “He is the first player we recruited and one of the last to fit through the key whole. We expect him to contribute immediately on the offensive or defensive line.”
Cutler plans to study radiographic science. His parents are Jennifer and Kyle Stock and Brent and Malena Cutler.
