STORMS CLOSING IN ON SCHOOL TACKLE RECORD
A.J. Storms goes into his senior year with 312 career tackles. He needs 103 tackles to become the program's all-time leader in tackles, passing Mike Calley's 414 tackles he had from 1984-87. The Big Sky's all-time leading tackler is Kane Ioane from Montana State (2000-03) who had 471. The NCAA did not officially recognize tackles in the record books until 2000.

Returning All-Americans
The Bengals return three All-Americans from last year's team in punt and kickoff return specialist Tavoy Moore, linebacker A.J. Storms and punter David Harrington. All three players earned multiple All-American honors and were named to numerous Preseason Watch lists and All-American Teams.

Yost Named Starting Quarterback
Idaho State has named Kevin Yost the starting quarterback for the 2011 season. Yost is a junior college transfer from Glendale Community College. He joined the team in January. He will be backed up by sophomore Justin Arias and freshman Brad Kragthorpe.

Kicking Factory
Idaho State has developed a reputation for producing All-American Kickers in Pocatello. Punter David Harrington was the most recent All-American in 2010. Harrington is the sixth Bengal All-American since 2000 that has been a kicker. The previous kickers to earn All-American honors were Jon Vanderwielen (2009), Dan Zeidman (2007), Jaret Johnson (2005), Eddie Johnson (2001) and Javier Garcia (2001).
