Bengals Fall at Portland State

The Bengals host UC Davis on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 4 p.m.

PORTLAND, Ore.- The Idaho State football team lost 77-10 to Portland State on Saturday evening at Jeld Wen Field. Idaho State is now 1-4 and 0-2 in Big Sky Conference play while Portland State improved to 2-4 and 1-2.

Portland State had 758 yard of total offense while the Bengals had 349. Kevin Yost was 24-for-44 with 281 yards with one touchdown pass and two interceptions. Rodrick Rumble caught six balls for 83 yards. Luke Austin caught six passes for 78 yards and a touchdown while Cameron Richmond had six receptions for 70 yards.

Taison Manu led ISU defensively with eight tackles while Demetrius Allen had seven tackle. Cameron Gupton recovered a fumble.

Idaho State scored its touchdown on an 11-yard reception by Luke Austin from Kevin Yost. Brendon Garcia also connected on a 26-yard field goal.

Idaho State returns to the field next Saturday, Oct. 13 for a 4 p.m. home game
