Freshman Krzysztof Stempien won the No. 3 singles over Sacramento State’s Javier Millan.

SACRAMENTO, Calif.
– Freshman Krzysztof Stempien was the lone Bengal to notch a win in singles action against Sacramento State Saturday. Stempien played a close match with SAC's Javier Millan. Stempien won the first set 6-2 and lost the second set 3-6. He went on to win the super tiebreaker 10-7.
 
Freshmen Andres Coello and Stempien won the No. 3 doubles match 8-2 over the Hornets' Blake Emery and Jonathan Tkrantz. However Sacramento State won the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to take the doubles point.
 
Sacramento State won the contest 6-1.
 
The Bengals play their final match of the season Wednesday, April 18 against Utah State in Logan, Utah. The match is slated to begin at 1:30 p.m.
