BENGAL OVERVIEW
Coming off their 3-2 victory over Weber State on Wednesday in Ogden, Idaho State hosts Sacramento State this Saturday at 7 p.m. in Reed Gym. The Bengals have a 11-7 (5-2 Big Sky) record and are currently fourth in the conference.
AGAINST WEBER STATE
Idaho State battled Weber State to five games on Wednesday. They took the first set 25-19 before dropping the next two, 25-20 and 25-23. They won the final two 25-19 and 15-8.
For the game, the Bengals posted a .201 attack percentage compared to Weber State's .124. During the third set, Idaho State had a match-high .351 attack percentage. Idaho State was out-blocked 26-16.
AGAINST MONTANA STATE
The Bengals swept the Bobcats on Friday night 25-20, 25-19, 25-21. They posted an attack percentage of .234 compared to Montana State's .129. They out-blocked the Bobcats 25-16.
Alydia Fields-Grimm and
Tressa Lyman both posted double-doubles in the match with 10 kills and 10 digs each.
AGAINST MONTANA
Idaho State topped Montana in three games (25-17, 25-17, 25-17). The Bengals posted a .327 attack percentage compared to Montana's .132. They out-blocked the Griz 19-10. Montana currently leads the conference in blocks with an average of 2.63 per set. The Bengals are ranked ninth in the conference with 2.03 per set.
ABOUT SACRAMENTO STATEÂ Â Â
Sacramento State currently has a 8-9 overall record and is 3-3 in Big Sky play. They are tied with Montana for fifth in the conference.
Against common opponents, the Hornets are 3-1, beating Northern Arizona, Southern Utah and Northern Colorado and falling to North Dakota. Idaho State topped Southern Utah and Northern Colorado and fell to Northern Arizona and North Dakota. Sacramento State has also lost to Eastern Washington and Portland State. They play Weber State tonight.
Sacramento State leads the conference in service aces with an average of 1.61 per set and has the conference leader in service aces in Sloan Lovett. She averages .41 aces per set.

Freshman
Marissa Todd was named Bengal Athlete of the Week on Monday for her performances over the weekend. Against Montana, Todd had a career-best 15 kills on 26 attempts for a .462 attack percentage. Against Montana State, she had seven kills and two blocks. She had eight kills and a block against Weber State.
WHITNEY HARRINGTON
Junior Whitney Harrington led the Bengals against Weber State with 12 kills on 19 attempts for an attack percentage of .474, a team-high. She also posted four blocks.
MAKENZIE FILER
Sophomore
Makenzie Filer ranks second in the conference, first amongst sophomores, in hitting percentage with .382. Over the season, Filer has 138 kills on 285 attacks with 29 errors.
Against Weber State, Filer posted 10 kills on 23 attempts with two errors for an attack percentage of .348. She posted a team-high six blocks.
TRESSA LYMAN
Against Weber State, sophomore
Tressa Lyman led in both kills (12) and digs (13). She posted three blocks.
Lyman ranks second in the conference for kills with an average of 3.62 attempts. She has 232 on the season. She also ranks second in points with 4.63 points per set, 268 on the season.
LORI MENDENHALL-LEE
At Weber State, senior
Lori Mendenhall-Lee posted her seventh 40+ assist game with 41 total assists. She also posted six kills, six digs and a block.
Mendenhall-Lee ranks second in the conference for assists, averaging 10.73 per set. With all matches, Mendenhall-Lee has 10.95 assists per game and ranks 35th in the nation.
