POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State hosts No. 3 Eastern Washington in Holt Arena on Saturday, November 2 at 3:05 p.m.. Eastern Washington leads the series 25-9. Eastern Washington has won six straight with the last ISU win being Sept. 24, 2005 in Pocatello over the then fifth ranked Eagles. That was the last time ISU has beat a nationally ranked FCS team. Since then the Bengals have lost 22 straight vs. ranked opponents.
SAVE BENNY BY ASSISTING IN A FOOD DRIVE
During halftime of Friday's (Oct. 25) volleyball match, Idaho State's Benny the Bengal was kidnapped by masked assailants. On Monday, a ransom note was delivered demanding one million cans of food. We are asking for your help to ensure Benny's safe return before Idaho State football takes on Eastern Washington next Saturday. Canned food can be dropped off at Idaho Central Credit Union locations in Pocatello and Chubbuck as well as the ISU Bookstore. For every can of food dropped off, you receive a buy one, get one free voucher for Saturday's football game against Eastern Washington. All food items donated will benfit the Idaho Food Bank. Please help save Benny - we are running out of time.
