Bengals Host Weber State, Travel to Sacramento State

Both games are set for 7 p.m.

BENGAL OVERVIEW
Idaho State volleyball hosts Weber State tomorrow night at 7 p.m. inside Reed Gym before heading out on their last road trip of the season at Sacramento State on Friday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. Last weekend, the Bengals topped both Montana and Montana State in five sets.

Prior to Wednesday's game, GPOD of Idaho is sponsoring a baked potato feed at 6 p.m. at Reed Gym. It is free to the first 500 people.

AGAINST MONTANA
In the Bengals five-set win over Montana, sophomore Tressa Lyman posted a double-double 16 kills and 10 digs. Idaho State took the first set 25-23 before dropping the second 25-18 and third 26-24. The Bengals won the deciding set 15-12.

The Bengals posted a .207 attack percentage compared to the Griz's .233. They out-blocked the Griz 23-19.

This marks the second time Idaho State beat Montana this season. Earlier this season, the Bengals swept the Griz at home.

AGAINST MONTANA STATE    
Idaho State volleyball battled Montana State to a five-set victory last weekend in Bozeman. After dropping the first set 25-18, the Bengals came back top the Bobcats in the second (25-18) and third (25-19). Idaho State dropped the fourth 25-19 but won the deciding set 15-11.

Lori Mendenhall-Lee and Tressa Lyman both posted double-doubles. Mendenhall-Lee leads the conference in assists with an average of 11.09 per set. Lyman ranks second in the conference for kills and points.

As a team, the Bengals posted a .294 attack percentage compared to Montana State's .310. This is the second time Idaho State has topped Montana State. Earlier this season, the Bengals swept the Bobcats in Reed Gym.

ABOUT WEBER STATE
The Wildcats are 7-23 overall and 3-13 in Big Sky Conference. They have lost their last three games  3-1 to North Dakota, 3-0 to Montana and Montana State.

Earlier this season, the Bengals beat Weber State in five-sets in Odgen.

ABOUT SACRAMENTO STATE    
Idaho State finishes its road schedule on Friday against Sacramento State. The Hornets sit sixth in the conference with a 13-14 overall record and a 8-8 Big Sky record.

Currently, Sacramento State is on a three-game losing streak on the road to Northern Arizona, North Dakota and Northern Colorado.

At home on Oct. 12, the Bengals swept Sacramento State. In that match, sophomore Makenzie Filer posted 14 kills on 20 attempts with a single error for an attack percentage of .650. Filer ranks second in the conference for attack percentage with a season attack percentage of .370.
