BOISE, Idaho- Idaho State women's tennis traveled to Boise State to participate in the Battle of Idaho Tournament Friday. The Bengals dropped their first match of the tournament to Boise State 7-0. The young ISU squad is still looking for its first win of the season as the Bengals drop to 0-4 on the year.
In singles play, freshman
Kasey Bacon played her third straight match in the No. 1 spot. Bacon was defeated by Marlena Pietzuch 6-2, 6-1.

Madelyn Weltzin fell to Sandy Vo in the No. 2 position 6-0, 6-0 while sophomore
Marian Tangarife was overcome by Teal Vosburgh of Boise State in the No. 3 spot 6-1, 6-1.
Freshman Svenja Tegtemeier slipped to Morgan Basil in the No. 4 spot 6-2, 7-5 and freshman
Laura Theus fell to Sammie Watson in the No. 5 position 6-1, 6-2.

Wiebke Boeckmann was defeated by the Broncos Megan LaLone in the No. 6 spot 6-3, 6-1.
The Bengals will return to action Saturday Feb. 9 when they take on the University of Idaho at 11 a.m.
