Mike Kramer Post Game Quotes
"We have to make sure
Luke Austin gets alot of touches. He is a senior. He is experienced and he is savvy.
Luke Austin has to have the ball in his hands. He is a good player. It is great to have him back. He is at full speed. We just have to make sure we feature him alot more."
"We didn't play well tonight. We were 4-15 at halftime passing and we can't do that. That is really the tail of the tape."
"The major issue is that our tackling continues to evade us. We don't have great eyes in the backfield and we are turning guys loose too many times. While we crawled back and gave a great effort, we went first down and ran the ball and all of a sudden they stoned us. Our young offensive front got run up the middle pretty hard."
"The one thing about UC Davis is that three weeks ago they played Northern Arizona. It took interception returns by NAU here to win the game. This is a pretty good football team Ron has. They play well at home. We didn't play as well as we needed to play early. We dug ourselves in a whole."
"We had three or four straight series of three-and outs with our defense."
We have to have every single facet working effectively if we ever think we are going to win at home and on the road."
