Bengal Women Host Rival Weber State Monday

POCATELLO, Idaho - The Bengals play their first of three games this week at Reed Gym Monday against Weber State at 7 p.m. Idaho State will face Montana Thursday at Dahlberg Arena in Missoula and Montana State Saturday afternoon at the Worthington Arena in Bozeman.

The Bengals are coming off a 69-65 road win over Southern Utah Saturday where Jessica Tingey scored a career high 19 points to lead ISU to the win. The Bengals will look to move to .500 in Big Sky play with a win Monday.

The Bengals are led by Lindsey Reed averages 14.4 points per game and Tingey who averages 11.9 PPG and 6.8 rebounds per game.

ABOUT WEBER STATE
The Wildcats are 4-10 overall and 0-5 in Big Sky play. Weber State lost 76-64 Thursday night at Southern Utah. Weber is 0-7 on the road.

Desiree Ramos leads WSU with 13.2 PPG and Amanda Hughes scores 12.2 PPG and leads the Wildcats and 6.4 RPG.

Weber State is led by Bethann Ord in her second season. In the midst of the major rebuilding project Ord has a 4-39 record.

LAST GAME: SOUTHERN UTAH
Idaho State survived a late comeback bid to top Southern Utah, 69-65, at Centrum Arena  in Cedar City Saturday afternoon.

Jessica Tingey led Idaho State with a career-high 19 points and nine rebounds while Lindsey Reed scored 13.

Idaho State built an 18-point lead with 8:30 remaining but SUU cut it to four before the Bengals responded and held off the T-Birds for the win.

The Bengals outrebounded Southern Utah 48-41 led by Tingey's nine. The Bengals shot were 24-of-54 from the field for a .462 shooting percentage, their second highest of the season. The Bengals also held SUU to 20-of-70(.286) from the field.

SOBOLEWSKI SETS ISU BIG SKY WINS RECORD
With the win at Southern Utah Sobolewski moved past Jon Newlee for career Big Sky wins with 55. Newlee still holds the total career ins mark at 93 but Sobolewski is closing in with 90.
